Co-Founder and Executive Director

My name is Yash Saxena and I am a senior at Maggie L Walker Governor’s School.
I have an extensive background in STEM and scientific research as well as in working with children. For the last four years, I have pursued scientific research and won awards for my projects at the Metro Richmond Stem Fair (MRSF), Virginia Junior Academy of Science (VJAS), and Genius Olympiad.

I noticed how the severe teacher shortage post-COVID has been affecting learning in STEM subjects and how understaffed schools and a lack of STEM extracurriculars was leading to students not being exposed to the full wonders of STEM.
We created this nonprofit in order to address these disparities by helping ease the burden on teachers and by helping and exposing students to STEM.
I enjoy biking, swimming, and playing basketball with my friends.
